Glitch Forge incorporates a variety of specially designed effects. Effects can be stacked with independent blend and mask modes. Some of the author's favorites: Channel shift, Pixel Blur, Block noise, Tearing and Granular.
Expressions can be used to dynamically calculate effect parameters. Double-click the label part of the parameter to enable / disable the expression. Parameters with expressions enabled are highlighted in color and the expression editor is displayed instead of the normal controls. When you enter an expression in the expression editor, the evaluation result of the expression is passed as a parameter.
Macros let you create your own controls and reference their values as variables in expressions. This is convenient when operating the parameters of multiple effects at once. Macros can also be included in presets, which can be used to provide options for preset users. The preset function allows you to save your favorite effect combinations and recall them at any time.
If you want to apply the effect only to a specific area, set a mask. By specifying a mask image in the “Mask” parameter, the transparency is determined according to the mask image. The clearer the pixel in the mask image is, the lower the transparency, and the blacker the pixel.
